What this site is, and is not.

Nothing here is a quote

Where this site gives a price range, it is a range, published so you can tell roughly what kind of money a job involves before you pick up the phone. It is not an offer and it is not binding on either of us. Every job gets a written estimate based on the actual surface, and that is the number that counts.

What a written estimate covers

An estimate from us states the scope, the price, and what is not included. It is fixed for the work described in it. If we open something up and find more than we quoted, which happens on repairs, we stop and talk to you rather than carrying on and adding it to the bill.

Anything not written in the estimate is not part of the job. If you want it included, ask before we start and we will re-quote it.

Weather and season

This is outdoor work with real temperature limits. Sealcoating, crack filling, striping and paving all need conditions that Wisconsin does not supply on demand. Scheduled dates move for rain, cold and an early or late season, and we will tell you when they do. That is not a failure to perform; it is the difference between a coating that bonds and one that does not.

Service area

The towns listed on this site are where we work. Where a page says a service is outside a particular route, snow plowing in the outlying towns most often, that is accurate and not a negotiating position. We would rather decline than take a contract we cannot service.

Accuracy of what is written here

We have tried hard to make the local detail on these pages correct, and where we could not confirm something we have left it out rather than guessed. Even so, towns change, prices change and pages go stale. Nothing on this site is a warranty, and the estimate and the work itself are what we stand behind.

Your use of the site

Use it to find out about the work and to contact us. Do not use the forms to send anything unlawful, and do not attempt to disrupt the site or scrape it at volume. The text, photographs and design here belong to Black Widow Sealcoating and are not free to copy onto another contractor's website.

Where we link out, for example to our Google profile or to a review, we are not responsible for what those sites do or say. Their terms apply there.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wisconsin.
